Big things - I read Alex Zhang’s blog on the history of performance in AI this morning, I’ve been feeling good today. Getting some awesome GPU and torch textbooks for christmas as well. I am very excited to see where this takes me.

I’ve realized how well I actually connect with the building of software. Learning torch and this CUDA stuff just seems so cool to me and I love trying it all out. Plus, coding is such a great way to learn. I think I want to write a blog on how I’ve figured out learning most efficiently, it could serve as a good framework going forwards for myself and others.

Also admitting publicly that I failed to respect the rock room last night and in the morning. It was brief in both instances, but still nonzero. I want to turn my hoome into a monastery and that will be impossible if I am not disciplined. I will try my hardest to do better tonight.
